Lock 5 Tavern is elevated bar food located in the heart of Freeport PA. It's amazing because you can also get there by boat, park at the public docks, and walk two blocks up for some amazing food. They care about what they put out at this spot and it's never missed in my book. Lucky to have something so good so close. The service is always on point and the staff couldn't be better. Thanks for existing!

This is an ultra-local dive bar in Freeport. Expect dive bar food and dive bar cleanliness. It's a bit rough and tumble. They had some amazing New Trails Flannel Weather as an option and this was the first place I tried that beer. I give that beer an 11 out of 10. Overall, I recommend this place for 6 packs and maybe lunch once in a while. We went in Fall, the place was empty for lunch but began to fill up in the afternoon as it got closer to the Steeler game. I remember the food being pretty good.

Typical bar with robust non bar food menu. No draft beer and scanty on wine. Will definitely return.

Took my kids (11 & 13) for a Sunday dinner. Had the 2nd floor all to ourselves. Kids played pool and threw darts while we waited. Plus they took control of the tv and played music. The staff was friendly and helpful. I wish I would have gotten the name of the gentleman that took care of us, he was also the bartender downstairs, as he did an excellent job. Order was perfect. The food was top notch. I was really surprised at how delicious the brisket sandwich was. My daughter gave the Philly cheesesteak a 9.5 out of 10! And my son loved the mac&cheese. Definitely a place we will go back to.

Food and service was awesome. Staff couldn't have been friendlier. Food was way beyond our expectations. Only downfall is the very few tables for dining. We ate at the bar. Does not disappoint. You must go check it out!
